Different Choice in Logo

Some of the feedback from the progress crit this morning was that the logo did not fit in with the rest of the Body shop brand. On my boards I had selected a series of logos through their development stages and 2 couples picked out the same logo with the comments that it looks more stylish and better fitted with a make up brand.
Their feedback on the previous logo was that they felt that using a scripted font was not a good choice as it didn't fit in with the rest of the brand. The whole beauty about the Body shop brand is that it is different, individual and unique in its concepts and products; they are make from completely natural ingredients. I need to be aware of trying to keep that uniqueness when designing this new brand of make up.
