Potential change in direction

After the crit I felt that I was sticking too closely to the whisky brief and that I wasn't fully getting stuck into the brief. So I had a rethink and another look at the other briefs and I have decided to blend the whisky brief with the number 17 brief with some points from the M&S brief.

My new idea is to create a 'His and Hers' range of beauty 'fresh packs'. Inside there will be a small collection of product that will fit easily into a bags, pockets and purses and designed for on the go touch ups / re-freshers for both men and women.

From the Number 17 brief;
  • Use the theme of beauty and cosmetics

From the Whisky Brief;
  • Create and brand a new cosmetics line
  • Design the product appearance
  • Package the product

From the M&S brief;
  • Create and design a range of 'fresh pack' around types of people, times of day and situations 
    • men / women
    • 'running late'
    • 'morning after'
    • 'long day'
    • 'not returning home'

Deliverables;
  • Product mock ups
  • Packaging
  • Mail outs promoting these fresh packs - first pack is free
  • Online presence - sign up and you can chose and pick your new starter pack

    • find out what men would want as essentials to carry around
    • find out what women would want to carry around
    • the essentials
    • which of these products combine
    • which situations would the pack be most needed in
