As an initial piece of design and I think that the logo works, however I think that there is something missing from when I put the logo on the basic product shape, I think there needs to be some form of artwork / image / decor underneath the logo, nothing too complicated but something that makes the line more stylish.
Instead of having an image, I could look into textures / patterns, similar to the packaging above. I really like the combination of bright, bold blocks of colour contrasted with the decorative but bold black and white texture.
I think that even by adding a little bit of texture / shape underneath it makes the product more interesting and more in tune with the target audience
